My name is Stefania Marinoni, and I speak English, Spanish, and Italian. I am a translator and interpreter. I help my clients communicate in another language, both in written and spoken form.
For instance, I can help you by adding Italian subtitles to videos, translating articles, or make the most from your holiday in Tuscany. I specialize in a number of fields, but my greatest expertise lies in tourism, publishing, art, and audiovisual sectors.
Born in Northern Italy, I moved to Tuscany in 2006 to pursue my studies, and I have been living in this beautiful region ever since. Throughout the years, I have spent periods abroad, mainly in the United Kingdom, Spain, and Germany.
After completing my Master’s Degree in Philosophy at the University of Pisa, I completed a Master’s Program in Literary Translation at the University of Siena. I started to work with several Italian publishing houses, mainly translating novels by Hispanic American authors.
Alongside my work as a literary translator, I took specialized courses in subtitling and marketing. In 2019, I started providing interpretation services, especially in the fields of tourism and food and beverage.
For a two-year period during the pandemic, I worked as a project manager and proofreader for a translation agency. Now I am back to working as a freelance translator and interpreter.
